New Year, Join Us!

January 2019 has been good to us and you’re probably going to make the rest of our year even better. Our Beloved Community is growing and we want you to help us find our next two team members.

We're hiring our first Director, Capacity-Building and Operations Manager.  All of our leaders will have strong self-awareness about personal identities as well as knowledge of anti-bias and anti-racism frameworks. We have a preference for leaders in New Orleans or Memphis, but both roles can be virtual.

Director, Capacity-Building leads our existing Equity in Schools and Equity at Work strands and will be the architect of our Equity at Home supports.  They are an experienced DEI facilitator from the corporate, nonprofit or education sector.

Some traits that they will bring to our work:

  • The ability to synthesize internal and external communication into a unified organizational voice and messaging strategy.

  • Ability to work with organizations at very different points in their life cycles and at different levels of functionality.

  • Effectively use project management tools to measure success, track progress, and forecast.

  • Deep experience designing, directing, or implementing community engagement practices with a variety of audiences, addressing their challenges (funding, strategy, operations, etc.) and developing turnkey solutions

  • Experience using research, best practices, or respected exemplars to enrich and improve a program as well as build capacity.

Some traits that they will bring to our work:

  • Experience using tech tools to facilitate team communication and project management.
